7 Yummy And Healthy Solutions For Picky Eaters

Tuesday, November 29th, 2011

Do you have picky eaters in your family? If yes, we are here to give you 7 yummy meal solutions to make sure your picky eater gets the healthy nutrients they need in their meals. Read below for solutions!

Did you know about two-thirds of parents have trouble getting their children to eat and eat healthy? Do not worry; eventually most children get less picky in eating as they age.

Learn to be in Control

Most little children want to control their worlds. A way to do so is controlling what they eat and when they eat for themselves. To get control back in your court, do not force your children to eat or do anything. Simply offer your children nutritious and diverse foods. Show them you enjoy the food by eating it yourself. By doing this, you prevent negative connotations about the food to grow in the minds and taste buds of your children.

Give your Child Praise

Make sure you tell your children that they are doing a great job eating, even if they only take a few bites of something they have never had to eat. If you cater to their emotions and demands by what they eat, this will signal to them that they can have control over you.

Do not worry about the time of day or how much your children eat during a meal.

If your children do not eat three full meals a day, do not worry. If you can get your children to eat, over a course of a week or two weeks, food from every food group, they are still eating healthy. Healthy is the most important part of a diet.
